Street Division

The Street Division is responsible for maintaining the roads throughout the City of Papillion, including street repairs, street cleaning and signals and signage. During the winter, the Street Division maintains the high standard of having all streets within Papillion city limits cleared within eight hours of the end of a snowfall.

ADA Transition Plan Public Notice

Public Notice: ADA Transition Plan Public Comment

The City of Papillion has developed an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plan for Public Rights of Way. A public comment period will be open from July 15, 2020 to August 15, 2020. Those interested persons, including individuals with disabilities or organizations representing individuals with disabilities are being asked to submit comments related to the current plan for consideration. The plan can be viewed at https://www.papillion.org/429/Street-Division.

Please submit comments or specific recommendations for modifications to the current plan, city facilities, programs, services, and activities to:

Adopt-a-Road

The Public Works Department sponsors an Adopt-A-Road Program inviting individuals and businesses to participate. The program is designed to help maintain designated roadways and to promote beautification along open space corridors throughout our city. Typically those who participate in these programs help to keep the adopted areas free of litter and debris.

If you or your organization is interested in volunteering for this program, please download and submit the application form, stop in at the Papillion Public Works Administrative Office located at 9909 Portal Road and talk to us, or call 402-597-2043 for further details. We can help you get started.

Roadside Memorial Policy and Sign Program
