The 3D Printer is available for community member projects. It runs on PLA filament provided by the library. The cost is $1.00 per print job plus $.05/gram of weight for the finished product and sales tax. The 3D printer is operated by library staff only.
The 3D Printer prints using .STL files. Print jobs must take under 5 hours as calculated by our Dremel DigiLab 3d45 3D Printer. Printing is not guaranteed. The Library reserves the right to reject projects based on copyright or content, including weapons and weapon adjacent objects. Commercial projects are not accepted at this time. We cannot give a time estimate for the completion of your print job. Patrons will not be able to print more than three objects in a week (Sunday to Saturday).
